GRADUATION

It have been 5 years, 5 meaningful, amazing, revolutionary years since I stepped in SMK Convent Kajang.
I've concluded that my secondary life is WONDERFUL. I'm so grateful.

Oh yes yes, I know everyone hates the "oh I'm so stupid that I got 89% for my Physics instead of 98%" and the "arghh why did God made me so stupid can't believe I got 80 only for my Biology test" and all sorts of things.

But really, if you think carefully, they are not to be blamed. well not fully.
Imagine this..
You scored around.. 75% when you actually aimed for like, 90% for instance.
But your friend beside you.. she scored 35% only. Failed.
And yes, you are upset, because for you, 75% ain't enough & she is upset, too obviously cos she failed her test.
So at one point I'm sure you will start the "Oh damnit 75% only blah blah falala" or when you try to comfort your friend by saying "Oh 75% only laa some people scored even higher than me blah blah falalaa" cos of unsatisfactoriness and then, your friend will start lah.

"Oh shut up lah at least you passed I didn't even pass blah blahh you have no rights to complain falala are you trying to say that I'm stupid falala insulting me lalala" with the annoyed/pissed off look on her/his face.

Oh please, I'm more annoyed okay -__-
Like seriously.. I am aware that my scores are higher than yours, and I do feel sorry for you. I do. But what do you want me to say to you if its not things that can comfort you or make you feel better?

"Oh yes you are stupid for failing your test asshole" or
"HAH I scored 75% YAYYY I'M SO SMART" or
"Yes I am a genius I passed & you did not" ?
Will that make you feel better?

We say things like "Oh its not that high lah" or "Nahh, its no big deal" to try to make you feel better, but instead you feel insulted?
Trying to be humble here.

And and sometimes, we (I never say it before lah) say we are dumb cos we feel disappointed, too. Maybe we aimed for better, and we worked hard for it, but we failed to achieve it. We have the rights to feel upset too okay.
You failed.. or did badly. You didn't achieve what you wanted, which is at least pass the test you will feel disappointed also right? So you feel sad.
See? Isn't it the same damn thing?

So please, a piece of advice here. If you scored better marks than your friends or whatsoever, or if you failed your test miserably ~~serve you right for not studying~~, try to keep your mouth shut.
Do not say anything if not necessary.

But dear friends, do remember this.
If you think you're poor ; there are millions of people out there with no food, dying of hunger each second.
If you think you are ugly/fat ; there are tons of people born deformed, or cacat-ed : No nose, no arms, no mouth, blind, deaf, ect.
If you think your classroom is too small, subjects are too boring and school is lame ; there are children out there yearning to learn, to gain knowledge.

BUT.

do they get the chance to study? No.
do they have the money to pay for school fees? No.
do they have enough classrooms in their school? No.
do they even have schools in their area? No.

Think, before you do/say/think of something. If its a complain, save it.
If you are unsatisfied about something you have/don't have, reflect deeply & think : Are they like me? Do they even have half of what I have?
Perhaps these thoughts will shut you up.

So hello! Its Monday already. Finally fuhhhh. Lame aku tunggu hari ni.

Sooooooooooooooo, yeah. 19th of October 2010. A day to remember.
Bukit Jalil National* Indoor Stadium. 8.30-10.00pm.

Went there around 6. 6 plus. Dgn Ash ;DD
The queue(thank u charis for the spellin wtf I can never spell that word) was suppppppppeeerrrrrrr long even though it was only around 6.30pm?
Gate opens at 7pm. Met up with Danial and his cousin, Farah and his Mum.
Thank God they were in the middle of the queue already so yeah you know what we did la ;)

Us, while waiting!
A woman from Hot Magazine came up to us with her camera and asked, " Can I take a picture of you guys? I'm from Hot Magazine."
" urm... sure! :DDD "

Local Band, Y2K was the opening act. No comment. Too excited for Paramore :|
Not long after, they came. THEY CAME THEY CAMEEEE!!
The opening was... GOD-LIKE. I'm serious!
The music was playing, but no, the stage was still dark. When the lights shone onto the stage, guess what we saw? It was their shadows, behind a huggeeee cloth!
It felt so unreal.. like watching their music video on Tv. THAT awesome.
PLUS. They played Ignorance. Imagine the atmosphere man.

They played songs like Crushcrushcrush, Decode, Misery Business, Feeling Sorry, Brick by Boring Brick, When it rains, Playing God, Careful, Misguided Ghost, The Only Exception and a whole lot more. A total of 18 songs.

Jumping, screaming, dancing, singing along. Basically everyone went hysterical.
Because it was that awesome :DDD
Hayley.. Oh I have no idea where to start! She was really, really cool.
She's so natural. So.. brilliant. Flawless. Thumbs up (Y)(Y)(Y)
Jeremy Davis, the Bass player, did a full flip. HOW EPIC IS THAT?!

The concert ended around 10 plus. Super early. Sedih uhhh =(
But satisfied :) Hayley said they will be coming back again! I'm praying & waiting now. This time, I'm getting the Rockzone tix IDFC!

Elisha Yeo Hui Shien had a Mooncake Festival celebration and she invited us over to playyy!

weeeeeeee we love to play :DDDDDD

so yeahhh. Reached there around 6. Sook June, Jia Yi, Yi May (my ever so lovely 1st boyfriend), Zuleen, Suk Teen were there already.

We played CLUEDO! We were super clueless at first, but we slowly got the hang of it after a while.

Jia Yi won the first round, and nobody won the second. Halfway playing the game Leelyn & Wan Ying arrived.

We ate talked blah blah blah skipskipskip

yes, JUNKFOOOOODDDD!

Around 8, after all the "when are we going out?", "when can we play?", " what time are we going out to play?" questions, WE FINALLY WENT OUTTTTT :D

Suk Teen was extra happy >.> as usual.

We started lighting up the lanterns in front of Eli's place, her brother Alfred helped too.

Pastu we walked to the field not far from her place.

We were singing like nobody's business while walking, disturbing the neighbourhood :D

IT WAS FUN! When we reached the field, our lanterns were all dimmed :|

So we decided to light them back up. The field was rather creeeeeeepy.

Later, we decided to pay Mr. Phoon (our oh so fab tuition teacher) a visit! :DDDD

We had no idea which was his house, but Eli knew which lorong. So we went on hunting for his epic white Kancil and surprisingly, we found his house.

We're good, no?

We weren't very sure at first, but when we saw a little girl playing in the house and a man sitting reading some book, which, looked like Mr. Phoon, confirm lah rumah betol :)

Called out his name several times, but he couldn't hear us. Then, we saw Miss Ang (his wifey).

"MISS ANGGGGG!!" and she heard us! weeee then we chatted for a while and we left not long after.

From this, a conclusion can be made.

When they told me that, I was KINDA disappointed. but got over it a second later.

So yeah, Colleen & Me walked to Mc'D, only expecting to see a handful of people there.

I went up.. and yes indeed. Only those few.

Wanted to go down to order my lunch, but Yan Yee kept stalling me. I knew something fishy was going on.

So I sat down and waited. Few minutes after, I heard people singing birthday song.

My friends came up with a Secret Recipe cake. Along with that, came Ashmeer & Shaun Lim =D

I was like.... WTF?!

It had been aagggeeeesss since I last updated. The previous one was during the Fifa season. Wth? Two months ! Lotsa shit happened. But its all over now, let bygones be bygones (:

Anyways, we just finished our exam. Hip Hip Hoorrayyyy!

Two things I absolutely adore about exams :

- No lessons!
- And when there's no lessons, it can only mean one thing.

Oh lala I'm finally back from my first (and most probably last) St John's camp!

woot woot woots!

Well overall it was quite fun lah, but mostly it was just dead TIRING.

So I shall now briefly talk about what happened throughout the 4 days and 3 nights camp.

Gathered at Stadium Kajang at approximately 6.20 in the morning. Felt relieved seeing familiar faces. I was sort of nervous for this camp actually so yeah :|

then then then we took off to our destination! Sg. Chongkak.

A longggg and deep deep deeeeeep drive there. Friggin kampung.

Met up with my group members all. Thank god they're nice and friendly people lah. *phew*

My tent mates were Suk Teen, Binng & May Yie. Living in a tent with 3 other mates is definitely not easyyyyy especially when the weather is hot.

Nice experience though =)

I can't really remember what happened at the first day actually so... screw it lah.

So urm urm we actually cooked for ourselves! Well I didn't really do the cooking lah, I tak reti :|

The food was not bad lah, quite acceptable. The food by the committee was hundred times suckier :p

We jungle trekked under the rain, and god, it wasn't easy. But it was fun also heee.

I nearly kena leech, but thank god Nam, my group mate saw and was pulled away in time =D

Hmmmm we had Rescue 911, which we were given a situation then have to treat the patient all. Our group got 6 over 10. Not bad eh.

It rained for some days lah, at night. The water went into our tents o_________O

Which, made my sleeping bag and may yie's soaking wet ugrh.

I had night shift too, at 2 to 4 am that day. I enjoyed it lots because of.. something :p

Enjoyed talking to Wayne, and two other night shift mates of mine =p

We just sat and talked. Hahaa.

Ersyad was NICEEEEE and did I forget to mention he is yummy looking too? :p

I ate MC'D too! Shhhh Wong & Shameer curi-curi gimme weee! Thankk uuuu.

Urmm we also had telematch, which involved lots of water activities. We could have gotten the best group, instead of May Yie and Greg's group, but unfortunately our stones got rushed away by the oh so strong stream of water T^T

But it doesn't matter, we had fun =)

They are awesome peeps, glad I know all of them.

My favourite was when we all DANCED!

They offed the lights, blasted english songs (thank god), and flashed torchlights everywhere!

Seriously it was like a club with everyone dancing. Damn cun. Me and Binng got high =p

I slowed dance with Shameer! for a bit only lah. I hope UMA didn't see us. HAHAHHA.

I also like the singing part! Damn cun.. we gathered round and sat down. Shaun played the guitar and we all sang!! Fun =)

I slept at 4am on the last night.. Me, Suk Teen, Yew Man, Wong, Reshee, Yap, Shaun, Ersyad and Nicholas sat round the campfire and chilled.

Me and Teen went off after Binng was done with her nightshift.

May Yie slept away like a pigggggg =p

Im glad Im back home.. yet feel sad because it had all ended.

Nice experience. Met nice people as well as not so nice people there.. oh well.

I've decided to do some random updates.. bout the past.

just a few.

Haven't read for a longgggg time cos' I'm just so busy with everything.

Studies, Co-Curriculum and everything else.

In fact, I hadn't even touch a book this year.. till the day after exam.

Loads of untouched books on my shelf :|

Immediately grabbed a book, and started reading =D

Finished this book in 3 days.

Best lah Jodi Picoult's books. very interesting.

It even caught Pn. Lily's attention. She wants to borrow it after I'm done reading HAHA.

And and Pn. Nirmala too, she wants to borrow The Gift by Cecelia Ahern.

Should I start charging them...? Hmmm.
